In my experience whenever you change the default nudes, you will have to delete this file to get your new skins to show up in game. IMPORTANT - If your skin does not work you may have to delete the file simCompositorCache.package in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ - This will not harm anything, the file will recreate itself automatically and reset your sims' skins.
